A Friday Morning Intention: When We Win, We Win Together
This week has made me proud. Not just proud of myself, but proud of everyone around me.
Family, friends, coworkers, teammates, and every person who has shown up in their own way are all part of this. We are all a spoke in this unique thing we call life, moving together, learning together, building together, and reminding each other that none of us are meant to travel this road alone.
After a week well done, I believe we have to pause long enough to acknowledge the successes, honor the lessons learned, remember to always take the high road, and recognize that when we win, we all win together.
That matters deeply to me.
We find value in who we are, not what we are. We find value in our intentions, not our titles. We find value in our morals, not our mobiles. We find value in the human connection, not the banking transaction.
There is something powerful about knowing that we are here because we want to be. Not because we were forced into the room. Not because a title told us to stand there. Not because a transaction required our presence. We are here because somewhere inside of us, we understand that this journey matters.
I am here to tell you that I want you beside me during this journey, on this journey.
Success is personal to each and every one of us. My version of success may not look like yours. Your dream may not sound like mine. Your mountain may not be the one I am climbing. But my commitment, our commitment to each other, is to not outdo, outpace, or override our coworker, our teammate, our family, or our friends.
Our commitment is to elevate each other. There is room for us all.
Do not be running the race so fast that when someone stumbles, you do not have time to turn around and pick them back up. That pause, that reach, that willingness to help someone rise again is not a small thing. It is the quiet evidence of who we really are.
Real leadership is not only found in the win. It is found in how we win. It is found in whether we can celebrate without diminishing someone else. It is found in whether we can move forward without leaving people behind. It is found in whether we can dream loudly while still making space for someone else’s dream to breathe.
That unique gift is what makes me want to let you in and be a part of my world.
Again, that world is not a world of mansions and Bentleys and cascading diamonds, although I do have them all in my dreams, in my realities, because that is what I was built for, and I will not deny myself any of that.
Let me be very clear about that.
I believe in abundance. I believe in beauty. I believe in dreaming big enough that the vision has to stretch every room it enters. I believe in wanting more without apologizing for it. I believe in the mansions, the Bentleys, and the cascading diamonds because those dreams are part of the story too.
But when I say I want to let you into my world, I am talking about something far deeper than what shines.
I am talking about my heart.
I am talking about my circle.
I am talking about my family.
That is the real world I mean. The place where trust matters. The place where intention matters. The place where people are not measured by what they can do for you, but by who they are when life gives them the chance to show up.
We can share those dreams of diamonds and Bentleys and mansions together as we help recreate a better world for everyone out there so that they can get their dreams too.
Because all of us do not have the same dream.
Some people dream of freedom. Some dream of peace. Some dream of building something their family can be proud of. Some dream of healing. Some dream of being seen. Some dream of finally walking into a room and knowing they belong there.
My final wish for this Friday is not for you to gain my dream.
My final wish is for you to achieve yours.
In true abundance.
In true happiness.
In true love.
Intentionally every step of the way.
As this week comes to a close, take the win. Take the lesson. Take the high road. Take the moment to appreciate the people beside you. Take the time to remind someone that they matter.
One random act of kindness this weekend goes a long way.
Sometimes that one act is the very thing that reminds someone they are still part of the wheel, still part of the journey, still part of the dream.
When we win, we win together.
