Some of you will judge me for writing this on a professional platform. My guess is that you are the same people looking away and doing nothing. A good number of you are the ones actually doing it.

I have to say this out loud.
I know some people do not want to hear it. I know some rooms go quiet when someone like me starts talking about this. That quiet is the problem. That quiet is permission.
Someone in my network had the courage this weekend to write something real on a business platform. She said she was avoiding everyone until she had the words. She still did not have them all. ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ ๐บ๐ฒ. The absence of perfect words is no longer a good enough reason for silence.
So here are mine.

This is not a political statement. This is math.

As of January 1, 2025, that is the documented reality. They do not have full control over what happens to their own bodies. That is not a debate.

Maternal mortality rose 56% overall in Texas in year one of the ban. 95% among white women alone.

Women left the labor force in December 2025 alone. That same month, 10,000 men joined it. Men joined the workforce at 3 times the rate of women in all of 2025.
Federal agencies hit hardest by cuts had women making up 52% to 64% of their workforces. That is not a coincidence. That is a pattern.

The people with power protect the people with power. That is not a conspiracy theory. That is the documented record.

I have heard women say they would not vote for a female candidate because she had no chance of winning. I have watched women shame other women for speaking up. I have seen women in positions of authority enforce the same systems that were used to limit them.
That is not weakness. That is conditioning. Sophisticated oppression gets people to guard their own cage.
โ When a woman says she will not vote for another woman because she cannot win, she is often repeating what a man told her. She deserves better than that.

Think about what that actually means. It means your comfort on this platform is worth more than the dignity of the women in those statistics. The decision makers, the CEOs, the hiring managers who sit here every day and have the actual power to change things should be protected from discomfort while women are being stripped of rights over their own bodies and retraumatized by a system that was supposed to protect them.
