Thank you to everyone who joined me yesterday on YOU BE YOU LIVE.
These are not normal times. Every one of us is carrying something, and it is showing up in ways we do not always mean. So here is my ask. Lead with a little more grace. Soften your heart. If someone seems short or not at their best, we have no idea what they are fighting through.
That spirit is exactly what shaped yesterday’s conversation. We created space for truth without tearing each other apart, and we chose unity over noise.
We talked about Black excellence, the strength of the Black woman, and the foundation that feels like it is shifting around us in America right now. We also went into childhood traumas, how they shape us, and why healing is not just personal, it is generational.
And this was not a session about what we do not have. It was a celebration of what we have overcome, and where we draw strength when life tries to pull the rug out from under us. In a moment like this, unity is not a slogan. It is a lifeline.
Special thank you to Tanya Smith Smith for bringing wisdom, energy, and heart to the conversation. You helped make it honest, uplifting, and deeply human.
I am including the replay link below so you can watch it back or share it with someone who needs it.
