Like a bull in a china shop, he didn’t just arrive—he collided with our democracy.

He came in like a wrecking ball, not to rebuild, but to demolish—crushing institutions, ignoring the Constitution, alienating allies, and unraveling decades of diplomacy and domestic progress in less than a hundred days.

It’s no longer a question of left or right. This is about right or wrong.

Because in those first 100 days, while he bragged about “trillions” added to stock market value (which doesn’t feed the middle class), we watched something more valuable disintegrate: our global credibility, our national security, and our moral compass.

We are not an island. We are not a nation of one. And we cannot solve global problems with a lone wolf mentality in a pack-driven world.

The Confusion Is Real—But the Consequences Are Worse

Here’s what’s troubling: it’s hard to tell if this chaos is by design, distraction, or sheer incompetence. But either way, the results are the same—widespread destruction.

No one is cheering. No one is applauding this era of reckless governance. No one sane is saying, “Wow, what a great hundred days.”

And yet, where is the outrage?

Why are we so quiet while:

  • The judicial branch is dismissed like a nuisance.

  • People are deported or jailed in countries they weren’t even born in—despite being legal citizens.

  • Oversight is stripped away and loyalty is demanded, not earned.

If this were happening anywhere else, we’d call it what it is: a descent into authoritarianism. But here, we’re gaslit into believing it’s patriotism.

Privilege Is Loud, But Justice Is Silent

Let’s get uncomfortably honest.

Ask yourself: Name one minority with 34 felony convictions, a history of sexual abuse accusations, fraudulent business practices, and reckless national security breaches… who would be allowed to sit behind the desk in the Oval Office.

Just one.

You can’t. And that’s what we mean by privilege.

Because we live in a country where a person of color could never send national war plans to their brother and a blogger via a Signal app—twice—and keep their clearance, let alone their job.

But someone else can. And does. And we let it slide.

So here’s the question: Are they the fools—or are we?

Because while we point fingers at the circus, our groceries are $12 a carton, layoffs are rising, hiring is plummeting, and countries are dumping U.S. bonds faster than we can say “economic stability.”

Our Allies Aren’t Afraid of Us—They’re Embarrassed For Us

Let’s not be delusional. The world isn’t fearing American strength anymore—they’re fearing American unpredictability.

We told our allies we didn’t need them. We laughed at diplomacy. We ghosted treaties. And we keep electing leadership that un-signs what they signed just four years before.

Would you trust someone like that with your future? Because the world doesn’t anymore.

They're not scared of our power. They're scared we might use it without purpose, without wisdom, and without understanding the consequences.

Time to Wake Up

This isn’t about party lines anymore. It’s about lifelines—our children's, our grandchildren’s, and our country’s.

You can keep pretending this doesn’t affect you.

But ask yourself: How long before your loved one is the one deported "by mistake"? How long before your retirement disappears in a market tailspin from reckless foreign policy? How long before you realize that democracy didn’t die in one blow, but from a hundred gaslit distractions and shrugged shoulders?

It’s time to stop applauding the wrecking ball just because it swings with force.

Force without direction is just destruction.

And right now, America isn’t leading. It’s stumbling.

Someone go get your grandfather out of the office.

Before the china shop is nothing but dust.
