Let me tell you something—everything you need is already within you. Every ounce of strength, resilience, and power—it’s there. But here’s the truth: even the strongest warriors get tired. Even the healers need healing. And even the ones who carry the world on their shoulders sometimes need someone to carry them.

It’s okay to say, “You know what? I’m not feeling my best today.” It’s okay to step down on one knee, put your head on your fist, and ask yourself, “How am I gonna get through this?” That doesn’t make you weak. That makes you real.

But here’s what I will say—remember your circle. The people you uplift should also be the ones who uplift you. And let me tell you, support doesn’t always come from the places you expect. Sometimes, it’s a stranger, a colleague, or the person you least anticipated who shows up when you need it the most.

It’s difficult to always remain positive, but let me remind you of this: just because you feel low doesn’t mean the light is gone. You still have good things happening in your life, even if they’re small. Hold on to them. Remind yourself of them. And don’t be afraid to lean on others, just as they lean on you.

You don’t have to be superhuman. You don’t have to bottle it up. You don’t have to carry it all alone. The truth is, the strongest thing you can do sometimes is to admit, “I’m not good.”

I once asked someone, “How are you?” and they responded, “Not good.” And I thought to myself, That’s the best damn answer I’ve ever heard. Because it was honest. It forced me to pause, to step out of my own world, and to focus on them—to see what we, as a community, could do to make it better.

So let me leave you with this—find inspiration in the light, in the people around you, in the moments that make life worth it. Be the inspiration. And most of all, remember:

You don’t always have to say, “I’m fine.”
