Today, let's take a moment to step back and focus on ourselves. It may sound like a challenging proposition for most of us, but it is a necessary and healing process. In a world filled with critics, pointing fingers, and judgments, we often lose sight of our own spiritual well-being.

Embracing Ourselves and Our Traumas

Trauma sounds like a weighty word, but we all have encountered situations that have shaped how we navigate through life. We often suppress these parts of our existence, brushing them aside with phrases like "crap happens, deal with it, grow up." But, can we really move forward without acknowledging what has held us back?

The Patterns We Carry

Life often presents us with recurring challenges that might seem like bad luck or fate. But is there something more profound that we're failing to understand? Why do we attract the same type of people in relationships, or face the same struggles in the workplace? These patterns are calling us to learn, grow, and break the cycle.

Fear, Control, and Workaholism

Some workaholics harbor a hidden fear of failure. The pressure to perform, coupled with an upbringing that required assuming adult responsibilities too early, may lead to an unending cycle of work. Control issues may stem from similar fears, leading us to try and dictate others' actions. However, this approach only invites rebellion and discontent.

Love Yourself

Before embracing others and the world around us, we must learn to love ourselves fully, including our past and present. As RuPaul aptly puts it, "If you don't love yourself, How are you gonna love anyone else?" By watering our spiritual garden, we nourish the roots of self-love and understanding.

Breaking the Cycle

Understanding ourselves, acknowledging our fears, and working towards healing empowers us to break generational cycles. We become more focused on solutions rather than problems, and we regain control over our actions. We can't change others, but we can influence how they perceive us by exuding confidence and self-assuredness.

Moving Forward

So, this week, whether at work, home, or with friends, take a moment to look inward when something feels uncomfortable. Focus on fixing yourself before calling out someone else. If those around you don't notice this newfound radiance, perhaps it's time to turn the page to the next chapter of your life.

By tending to our spiritual garden, we not only learn about the complexities of being human but also realize that life isn't always about chasing happiness. Embrace where you are, learn from where you've been, and remember that wherever you run, there you will be. It's time to nourish your soul, water your spiritual garden, and find the freedom within.

Life is a continuous process of growth and understanding, and only when we learn to nourish our inner selves can we truly be free. So let's embark on this journey of self-healing, reflection, and love. We deserve it.
