What a beautiful month this has been.
I am sitting here feeling warm and fuzzy all over, and I am proud of us. Proud of every guest who showed up on my show this month. Proud of every conversation, every laugh, every honest moment, and every reminder that when people show up as themselves, something meaningful happens.
Thank you to Lisa Feveck RD , Boris Zhukov , Catherine Uden, Narcisse Taplin , Novierale, Alex Vasquez , Shanté Morgan , Jennie Verduzco , and Cedric for being part of the energy this month. Each of you brought something different, something honest, and something worth remembering.
A special thank you to Kristi D. Williams 🌠 Customer Service Professional 🌟 and Gregory F. Liverpool for jumping in when a guest did not show and saving the day. That is what community looks like. People stepping in, showing up, and turning an unexpected moment into something beautiful.
Kristi D. Williams 🌠 Customer Service Professional 🌟 D. Williams, thank you for helping guide the book effort with wisdom, care, patience, and belief. Every dream needs people who can see the vision while the pieces are still coming together. You have been one of those people, and I appreciate you deeply.
Nicole Angai-Galindo and the amazing group of men working on the upcoming anthology Men, Money and Mental Health, I see you. What you are building matters. These are the conversations that help people heal, reflect, grow, and stop carrying everything in silence.
Jackie Hallberg, LMSW , thank you for showing us what a real-life superhero looks like. Strength does not always wear a cape. Sometimes it shows up as courage, compassion, resilience, and the willingness to keep standing.
Peter Mulflur , Felipe Cofiño , and Kenneth Dunner, Jr. , thank you for being part of this month’s beautiful energy. Each of you added something meaningful to the room, and I appreciate the spirit you brought with you.
Yvette Leal and Gabe Leal , I am so glad you made it back safely. That alone is a blessing worth celebrating.
A very special thank you to Leslie Flowers for holding us all together with care, patience, and steady leadership. Some people organize things. Some people help keep the heart of the group beating in rhythm. Leslie, you did that beautifully.
I also want to thank me. Yes, I said it. I want to thank myself for doing my own damn thang this month. For showing up. For creating. For writing. For hosting. For releasing. For believing in the work even when the road was heavy. Sometimes we have to pause and celebrate ourselves without apology.
This month reminded me that community is built by presence. It is built by people showing up, sharing what they have, encouraging each other forward, and making room for every voice at the table.
I am proud of all of us. Special thank you to Jacob Farkash you inspired everyone in the room last night. Keep it up bro. Ariel Farkash, M.Ed, M.Ed., Special Education job well done.
May this be a wonderful summer season for us all. May we carry this same spirit forward with gratitude, courage, laughter, purpose, and a little extra joy in our hearts.
